Detangling steps

1. Make yourself comfortable. That means making sure the dog is at the right height. You can use the dryer as a grooming table.
2. Have a brush, a comb, a rake and a good detangler ready on hand.

4. If there are knots, vaporize some detangler on it. Next, take the rake, slip it under the knot and make a seesaw movement.
5. Using the brush, brush a little section of coat.

7. Brush the detangled section.
8. Try to comb through again. If the comb goes through from root to tip, your detangling is a success!
PSSST! Never put a dog with a matted coat in water, you will make it worse. It could also cause skin infections as the knots will keep the humidity against the dog’s skin.
